Lawyers Miguel Ángel Pierri and Fernando Burlando confirmed that they will represent the families of the victims of the Dubrovnik hotel collapse in Villa Gesell. Pierri pledged to thoroughly investigate what happened at the hotel to determine responsibilities, while Burlando will join as the defender of María Josefa Bonazza, the wife of one of the deceased in the unfortunate event.
Amid these statements, two bodies have been found during the rescue efforts carried out at the site. According to sources from Villa Gesell, it has been confirmed that one of the bodies belongs to a woman, and it is expected to confirm whether it is María Rosa Stefanic, former owner of the complex, or Dana de Simone, partner of her nephew.
Prosecutor Verónica Zamboni has taken statements from the four detained individuals in relation to the collapse, including three workers and the foreman. All of them have declared their innocence and denied having any responsibility in the tragic incident. Furthermore, searches were conducted where relevant documentation for the ongoing investigation was seized.
